I'M HEATHER

My photography focuses on crafting timeless images capturing joyful moments with a stylish, refined, editorial style. Defined by beautiful light and authentic emotion, each image feels both sophisticated and deeply personal.

My team and I have a relaxed approach tailored to you. With a background as an art director, I provide gentle direction and styling that feels effortless, enabling you to be fully present in the moment as a couple.

While rooted in southern traditions, I celebrate and embrace my brides' fresh, modern visions for your events.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, I now live in Franklin, Tennessee, a charming suburb of Nashville, where long drives on back roads and songwriter nights spark creativity.

What brings me the greatest joy is being Mom to my two grown kids. In my spare time I teach pilates in my neighborhood studio and hike with my chocolate lab, Scout. Two of my favorite organizations to support and volunteer with are Musicians on Call and Saddle Up who do so much to provide joy and hope to those in need in the greater Nashville community and beyond.

I truly love my job, the places I go, and the incredible people that come into my life because you ask me to document your stories with my lens. I can't imagine doing anything else, so I keep chasing the light.
